Making Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon at our state-of-the-art new practice facility located in South Reno at 10695 Professional Circle, Suite A, just off Double R Blvd. Appointments with Dr. Schonder are also available on a limited basis at our downtown location at 350 W. 6th Street for those patients who live in that vicinity.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Schonder or Dr. Mills, please call (775) 322-1000 or (800) 231-4010. If you must cancel your appointment, please do so as early as possible so we may be of assistance to others. If you are going to be late for an appointment, a phone call is also very helpful.

There are many different insurance companies and HMOs in the area and a single insurance company may provide a variety of eye or health care plans. Our highly trained and experienced office staff will assist you with your insurance billing. It will be helpful if you can contact your insurance company prior to your appointment to determine the extent of your coverage. Your medical expenses are your responsibility. Some HMOs require a co-payment or an authorization from your primary care doctor prior to your examination. If confused on your coverage, we will try to be of assistance. If you do not have insurance, payment is required at the time of service.
